it's about time that i post this.....i don't even know who reads this anyway- it has been a while.
All is well, work is slowing down before the big rush- if you worked my job you would be uncomfortable with the TRUE concept of Christmas in July...because it's coming. and so is Halloween. Don't get me started. Summer has arrived and so has a love for the spin bikes...which has translated to riding the mtn. bike to work as much as possible- it makes me feel awesome, but it's only a 15 minute ride round trip...so i don't think i get to consider it more than a chance to get sweaty..it's not legit enough for exercise. but it's faster than the car- so, we'll stick with it. working a few less hours hasn't opened the schedule up- it just adds more opportunities to be busy. Isn't that just how life goes. Free time isn't every quite free but it's usually spent doing things that make you feel free. the business is still going...can't complain there. people still like treats, and hopefully it sticks for a while so we can try and afford tickets to hawaii in September. It's the goal for the year to head to Kauai for some blissful hiking and exploring. i hear the nepali coast is truly spectacular and josh will be a great tour guide. has anyone been there? please offer your advice as to what's the favorite beach/eatery/adventure.
Oakley is an awesome dog and is now old enough to be my personal running trainer. with the new leach josh found, which hooks around my waist, i can freely use my arms to try and keep up with his quick pace- faster than i can go on my own. i figure it's a tempo run everytime. that isn't bad is it? he's the best.
we are trying to make the best of everything and recognize our blessings...life is good when you look for it!
now, go have an adventure!
You guys are so cute! We did that hike when we were there and it was so amazing, it's like the only thing I remember from the trip! You have to go!
