missy's crispy's

It's about time i write about my latest obsession...selling missy's crispy's at Jolleys. you got it! they are available for sale at the one and only jolley's. and they are good, and they sell out. and today i took grandma there to see them since they were fresh yesterday (they usually take a week to sell) and they were gone! gone gone gone.
yes, folks. they were gone. so you better come get one or make a special order for your next party.

cheers

a day in the life of a wranglerette

Howdy. I'm a wranglerette...and let me tell you this job is full of poo. Truly, horses poo a lot. It starts out with about an hour of catching horses, which isn't so bad. Then you tie them up. Then you saddle them and put a bridle in their mouth. Some like to fight really hard and some take their bit as though they are willing to admit that being ridden is much more exciting then standing around waiting to be ridden so they aren't going to argue. I forgot too mention that in between each step you sweat a liter....that makes everything even more cozy. It is a great way to stretch out your jeans so they are nice and pliable when you're ready to saddle up. The good part comes when you ride through gorgeous country full of thick green everything. Even the aspen trees are thick. Life is good as a wranglerette. Especially when you get to do this process twice a day. Showers never seemed so good. And who's going to complain when every meal is prepared for you?

the end of the world due to killer bees

hello. it's been a long time, so long that a lot has happened. namely, our lawn has already been mowed 4 times or more. this means many days have gone by. it's still raining though, so you may think it's still 3 weeks ago and that we keep reliving everyday over again. this is not true, our global climate is just going beserk.
speaking of crazy stuff, we were at a bbq and suddenly a mob of bees were buzzing so loud that when i looked up, i said "woah" in a soft, almost whisper which proves that is was truly a sight to see. then we were all waiting for someone to say "get inside!". man, the second we got that cue it was a mad dash for survival. no one cared about the other, it was purely the concept of self-preservation, NOT preserve your loved ones. hahaha

st. fancy at the st. regis

josh is awesome and booked a friday night at the st. regis. It's for fancy folk who like to poshly visit deer valley. We fit into that don't we? Well, we walk in, after we ride the fanicular (i think that's the word) and roam around to find our room. We ask the girl in the chocolate shop/gift shop/all your bathroom needs shop how to get to the elevators. Kindly she tells us the directions and we kindly walk on. The elevators are classy, along with the walls, carpet, doors, employees, and everything else. We walk into our room, well the entry way to our room. Then we walk into our actual room and it's STUNNING. the most gorgeous hotel room you've ever seen. Lovely robes and slippers for us to use for the hot tub, a weight scale- because who doesn't weigh themselves at every hotel? Amazing shower with a rain shower head that is wasteful and uses a gallon a second but provides a waterfall-like shower experience. A phone by the toilet in case you need room service while you poop. And of course a personal greeting that says welcome Joshua Brown when you turn on the flatscreen. Oh and i forgot to mention there is a remote on the sink??? Oh don't worry, you point it at the mirror and suddenly a TV appears. REDICULOUS. The bed was fantastic. We headed to the exit where a black escalade took us to main street wherever we wanted to go. Then when we are ready, we call their number and they pick us up wherever we wanted. Saaweeet.
Then we decide to check out the outdoor hot tub. Who doesn't love to swim in the snow...it was amazing. Oh i forgot to mention, before heading to main street we decided to sip some hot cocoa that was in the library being served out of copper containers. Fresh whipped cream to top as well. We sat on every chair and couch to be sure we got the full experience. While doing so, the guy from outside kindly asked if we would like to make some s'mores outside over the fire that is burning through piles of obsidian. Wow. of course we want s'mores. it's the st. regis. Man, it was absurdly amazing. You should go if you get a chance......living the life of luxury can be a bit uncomfortable but i suggest you experience every bit of it.

so you can be remembered...

HI, i stopped blow drying my hair so i could write this post. It better be good as I have been waiting for something to zing me....so here it is.

Girls should wear perfume. why? so you can be remembered.
smell and memory are very closely linked. like, on my run the other day, i ran past a bush that smelled EXACTLY like the bush that was by my 8th grade locker. talk about a flash back. I remeber all the girls in my 8th grade class when i walk into victoria secret and smell LOVE SPELL, and of course, i remember every girl in my freshman class when i smell the old school ralph lauren smell in the aqua blue bottle. That is, i only remember those who wore it. for everyone else, there is no memory. sorry. so, what i have discovered- if you have a hard time feeling remembered, and you feel like just the next girl that any man or woman walks by, perhaps you better find a special scent and use it! I remember horses when i smell manure because it's their smell. i remember myself when i smell MIRACLE because i've worn it for forever. The latest smell is from LOLLIA, very good. you should check it out. maybe even make people remember you in a good way by wearing it.
there are other things you can do to be remembered, but smell always helps get you into someones brain. they smell a smell, and bam! you've flung back into their memory in an instant. word of advice, don't let your BO be the way someone remembers you by.

have a smelly day.
